Seachem Prime or API Ammo Lock (2 Viewers)

Has anyone used either of these during acclimation when recieving shipped fish? I have some fish coming in from WWC and reading through thier acclimation guide they suggest using one of these products in the acclimation containers. I have not used either. I see that they are suppose to protect the fish from gill burn and the rapid increase in PH. I have never done this, rather just temp acclimated and then fast dripped from DT into bucket; removing water to sink 2-3 times over 30 mins. Any insight would be great!

I've always used Prime for ammonia control when needed. If I'm starting an uncycled QT, I always use it for the first several days until the bio filter catches up. Has always worked for me.
