So last weekend I picked up that acrylic glue applicator. I have been putting concentrated lemon juice in it and squirting these purple cloves, and some red turf algae that is growing. Well let me tell you. I did this application once after pulling out as much of the red turf algae I could before going crazy. 2 days later I notice the red turf algae was an orange color and half the cloves were shriveled. Today( 4/4) I looked in the tank and all the turff that was orange is now white and the shriveled cloves are gone:beerchug: So tonight I did another spray down. All the cloves that are left have been sprayed and I combed through the algae to spray down to the roots. Well see what happens.

ok took the maxi 900 off line this morning and soon after the royal gamma I had that never see has been all over the place. And the midas blenny is also exploring. I took the 2 hydor nano 240's and put one on each side. Im not convinced this will be enough flow, but well see. Also I seen some talk about checking hyrometers, so I looked very hard for my solution and finnaly found it, Check it..........it was off. DOh! now im slowely raising my salinity up in the 33. I like it a.28, i was under .25. DOH!....LOL FYI go and check yours.

went with the hydor 1500. And way happy. I even took out the 240's for now, So Now its just the 1 pump and the hob. So hopefully this will be all I need. Looks much better with just the 1 pump.

sad day. Woke this morning to my son telling me that the yellow and purple fish was on the table. Ran down the stirs to look and see, The royal gramma jumped out. I do have a a screen top, but near the hob is a rather large opening. Sad,sad,sad. So now I need to find some thin acrylic or plastic to fill in the gaps. , on a good note the new pump is doing awesome. Woke this morning to no film on top of water. And happy corals, and all corals in the same place I left them. Maxi like to blow them around.
