Your builds are always so impressive. I just re-hauled the filtration on your old 57g. I'll have to update when the kinks are all worked out.

Beautiful setup, sometimes putting water in them sucks because things start to get dirty. It's just so pretty before you do.

You have one impressive setup there! I am curious, where did you get your Longspine Cardinals? I have been trying to find a small school for some time now.

I got them from Petco they are a shoal of seven , they can be tricky to get eating but once they do they are a really nice fish they are always in a tight school and have a deep blue reflective eye patch, I really like them.
I think I have finished the basic setup of the tank.
Calcium reactor and Ozone have been brought on line, nitrates have gone from 50 to <1 with the Bio pellets. Phosphates are around 9-12 ppb phosphorus on the hanna ULR test, Ca 450, alk 9.0, MG 1350 Ph 8.16 and ORP 325. bit of algae starting to grow. Let the fun begin.
I love having the reactors at shoulder height it makes working on everything so easy.

That would be great to have everything on a shelf like that. I don't enjoy becoming an amateur contortionist when trying to do maintenance on my reactors.

Where do you get that vinyl tubing and those wire sticky clip things?

What's the bottom BRS Jumbo reactor with the white element for?

It is a large CO2 Scrubber once I start having a more substantial feed from the Calcium Reactor having this connected to the protein skimmer will result in no Ph suppression due to CO2 content in the water also it eliminates the day night swings in pH that can occur.

So much for keeping it simple! lol

No but seriously it looks awesome man! Very impressed.

Very impressive build! That tank is almost too pretty to hide behind a wall! Can't wait to see the tank fully stocked!

Did a little video I was lucky to get a 1" purple tang and a 1" yellow tang and a beautiful Bellus Angel from Jason @ petco.

Couple of updates finished the overflow setup different than a bean because of the very short drop to the sump when the tank would restart the overflows would not go to siphon and the tank would overflow. I installed the vents on top of the intakes and now the one goes to full siphon right away and there is a small trickle on the second unit. I also installed a float switch which is connected to the Neptune Apex so if the overflow box water height ever gets to high again the return pump will shut down, it all works very well and is totally silent.

Do the vents work with a Herbie style drain? For some reason I am having issue with the siphon starting on my tank lately. I assume it is because the pipes have gotten dirty now that the system has been up for a few months.

If I can use the vents, where do the hoses run?
To the sump?
Above or below water?

The vents run externally and allow for the air to vent from the top of the pipe this results in the pipe operating like an open pipe but without the noise. I found the air pressure building up in the pipe resulted in the siphon being difficult to start and if I opened the cap on top there was substantial pressure building up with nowhere for the air to go.

Very nice collection of LPS!
Lobophyllias are my all-time favorite coral.

Interested to see how this one does in your system.
Mine has changed to a blue with green highlights over time under my LEDs.
And it's feeding response has all but disappeared. Hopefully, not a slow demise.

Great looking set up.
I like the inclusion of the white board for tracking parameters and your routine.
Thanks for the pics.
