I wish I had more examples but tons of people that PM me asking me for detailed part lists, instructions, or design guidance never respond back with their tanks.

UH OH! I couldn't wait until the swap. My corals were looking really good with the new light so I had to get some new premo pieces

Photo straight out of the camera with only blue leds on. This torch is YELLOW!! It is by far the most yellow coral I've ever seen and had to have it to complete my rainbow of every color. It cost the most out of all the pieces I got but it is by far the piece I'm the most happy with.

I think that clam looks great in there! I think you need to add a black/gold maxima for added color; and just another clam.
How are you keeping that green monti in check; daily pruning?!

This one is blue speckled on black so Im hoping Jay brings a solid blue or teal one to go next to it.

The green cap is great. It is the fastest growing thing in the tank. About every 2 weeks I snap off a tiny amount around the entire perimeter to keep it about the same size. In the 4th photo you can see your original piece with the small growth ring. And about an inch out from that is my "trim" ring. Its almost due for another pruning.
 
Corals don't look quite as nice as my previous photos for some reason. I was gone for almost 2-3 weeks during Christmas and the tank may have missed out on too many feedings or water change / cleanings.

But here is the new year full tank shot.

Ordered extension tubes and a wide angle filter for my Sigma 35mm so I should have some photos to share after I fool around with them this week.

Did a slight rearranging and took some more top down shots.

New clam as well from Murray's Aquatech. He said its from the Cook Islands supplier which usually has some of the healthiest and prettiest looking maximas in my opinion.

Very nice.

I may have missed it, but last year you mentioned you were having issue with colors fading. What did you find to be the solution?
 
In my first year I had lots of pale corals, lots of deaths and overall little success. All the things I've changed or adopted since then have been.

Stop GFO while using biopellets
Lower Alk while using biopellets (Switched from Red Sea Coral Pro to standard Red Sea Salt)
Lower the intensity of my LEDs (I also changed from a blue/white only fixture to a full spectrum fixture with UV leds)
Feed the fish a little more food and more often
Feed the corals reef chili and acropower 3-4 times a week
Lugols iodine drops 1-2 times a week (Seems to helped stop coral infections and keep my only blue coral blue, supposedly iodine is good for that pigment of zooxanthellae)
Every 6 months or so I do a massive cleaning of all of the equipment and sump and do 2 large water changes to get the water back to as close to the salt mix as possible

I'm basically running a nutrient rich system and using biopellets to keep it lowered and stable.

Today I found of mass of byssus filaments. The clam must have wanted to grow some new ones somewhere else. So the clam has been moved to the rockwork and after a few light taps it seems to be anchoring down.

I also picked up some phytofeast to feed the little guy. I'm really thinking this one is finally going to stay long term.

My new Phoenix Monti from the DFS tour. You can really see how yellow and bright it is compared to the RR Nauti Spiral. Now the Nauti, Spongodes and Oregon Tort have been pretty bleached for most of the summer and its finally starting to recover most of the darker pigments but it should look awesome once they grow closer together.
