Probably a pretty easy part for me to draw up. I just need dimensions or a spare cage that I can take the dimensions myself.

Do you have a digital caliper that you could measure the diameter of the cages you have? Or a spare set I could borrow for a few days to get the dimensions I’d need?

I also see the aftermarket ones look like they have fancy flow control paths. Do you just want something that generally makes the holes smaller so the nem can get sucked in or?
 
I do not.. I do have a new spare I could get you. Yeah just want to make holes so the nem doesn't get sucked it, which already happened once!
 
Gotcha. Well just let me know. It shouldn’t be a hard part to draw up and make a STL for.
 
Had a great time at Reef-A-Palooza again this year. Highly recommend if you have not been. Great vendors, sessions and networking. I ended up scoring some good deals and taking the plunge on some Apex gear. I am excited to incorporate more automation around water changes and testing. Any tips or gotchas with the setup or config process? Now I have to decide on gear placement here!

What a week of setting up all this equipment. Also quite the learning experience. Initial thoughts? AMAZING. Been really impressed. Well worth the investment so far. Certainly a learning curve compared to the RedSea app, but exceedingly better in just about every way.

Here is how I got everything mounted. I have the two Tridents in my in the stand under the tank.

Mounting board and cord management are FIRE! Well done. Apex is not my cup of tea but glad you are enjoying the upgrade and new features :)
 
What are you using for AWC - DOS? Also curious how many GPD? Love the idea. Think you'll need to supplement with added WCs?

Wow this is so very sharp. Do you have to cut the plug ends of all your equipment to put those fancy plugs on?
 
I did not cut any plugs.. I bought the flat plugs on Amazon.

For AWC, I am using DOS and currently doing 2 gallons per day. No additional WCs needed so far! I was worried the DOS would be too far from my mixing station in the basement, but so far so good!
 
Things still humming along over here. AWC working great as is my Trident.. However, the Trident NP is giving me some trouble. It no longer reads PO4 after I changed reagents. Have a ticket open. Other than that the testing has been almost identical to my Hanna Marine Master.

Picked up some really nice live stock from @reef junkie as well! Thanks again!

I did have a mishap with my ATO. I setup an Alexa routine to run the pump that fills my container a few mins a day, but misjudged how long it should run and it overfilled.. luckily not too much water and my Govee water sensor caught it immediately and turned off the pump :) I would like to add float valve but do not think that would work with my current setup.

Yes buddy. That looks awesome. They all opened up so nice!!! Watch that raga chalice close. It has long sweepers and is very aggressive.

I have a pile of the small float switches you can add an apex black box and used these sensors to shut things down. If you think they would work for you, you can have them. Text me.
 
Hey Hey! Figured I would do a fall update here! Revamped my rock scape just a bit.. was feeling a bit overcrowded. Got rid of a few rocks and moved some things around. Some livestock updates:

1. Blue Ornate Leopard is still hanging on.. he is an old man, but he comes out of the sand once in while. Have not seen him eat in weeks though.
2. Orange Spotted Blenny is MIA. Not sure why. He seemed fine but have not seen him in weeks.
3. I added a Blue Throat Triggerfish. Such a cool fish. I had no idea these were generally reef safe. He has been a great edition and model citizen.
4. Nems split yet again, not sure if this is good or bad. But they seem healthy and I will have more avail at some point for those interested.

Apex and AWC still going smooth. I have been testing monthly with Hanna and Salifert and the Neptune has been spot on! Currently doing 2gal a day.

I was doing NOPOX before Phosphate-E but it was dropping my nitrates too much when keeping the phosphates in check.
