Still keep the tank simple, just clams and nems.

I'm halfway through designing my own roller filter. The downside of not buying a standard tank is that most products on the market don’t usually fit. The initial version will be manual; the sensor and motor will be included in a later version.

9 hours results, make a small update to the outside housing. Only have water go through the left and bottom only now, since the right side is completely against the wall.

I think it's cheaper to buy the redsea one. The only reason i went custom routine was due to the redsea one just too tall to fit my needs.

Before using the fleece roller, I had to manually cut the filter floss, rinse it before use, and it would only last about 18 to 24 hours before needing to be swapped out. Sometimes, if I didn't have time or felt too lazy, I'd skip the filter floss altogether. This fleece roller offers a significant improvement in convenience compared to changing out the filter floss. Now, I can just turn the knob a few times before work and again before bed.

The fleece roller uses approximately 10-12 inches of fleece per day, requiring 2-3 manual rotations daily. A 59-foot roll should last about 2 months.
It's time to switch to auto mode.
- Relay and buck converter have been ordered.
- motor, a stepper motor from my Creality period, ensure it gets enough torque and low to no noise operation.
- I'm still deciding between an optical and a mechanical sensor. anyone got experience, i read overtime the optical sensor cause issue?

After some reading, I decided to go with a capacitive contact sensors.
