3 Foot Nano Tank (1 Viewer)

FINALLY got in the fish I've always wanted. Big thank to Murray at Murray's Aquatech for keeping in touch with me these last few weeks and calling me when one was available.

The Dendros are also from Murray and really add a nice flash of orange that I was missing on this side of the tank.

yup I love that picture. I tell ya if the dude who said he wanted to buy my 75 this weekend does not show up I am going to set the dang thing up at work (after I finish my own personal Crazy Horse memorial).

I joke with the kids that they'll be the ones who have to finish my build :)

Do you think orange digi would fit in your tank better than orange plating monti? Up to you, otherwise, setosa may be a better option, grows a little slower than the monti or the digi and has a nicer orange look to it. For any of the three, you may want to glue it to a small flat rock and then glue that rock to your main structure, so that you can trim easily when necessary.
Hollar when you decide. I got all three.

Here is another showing her size to a hermit crab. (It looks like a feminine fish)

I'd like a nice red Setosa, and I PMed reef.saltwater for a frag of his I just haven't been able to get way out to Plymouth. Personally Id like to have the plating kind as its one of the coral shapes I don't yet have in my tank and 2-3 different colors would be really cool. I'll PM you about working out more details.

I don't know. Its a little risky with it being even bigger. They really should be disciplining me for how much time I tinker with it when I should be working :gay1: I try to keep it all before or after working hours but even if I'm not doing anything with it I sure do stare at it more than my computer some days.

Good luck on the Crazy Horse..... I've gone there twice in my lifetime and both times almost no progress had been made.

If you put him in yesterday? He's in a rock today. That's my call. Bought a 4 or 5 inch tilefish on saturday. (It is pretty much a firefish on steroids). Out all day saturday. Sunday, not a sign of it till nearly lights out, caught a flash of its tail hanging out of a hole in a rock. Few days later, he comes out to eat, but not much more.

If he's been in the tank longer than that....anything is possible.

Glad to hear he is not carpet surfing. Hopefully he found a good hiding spot and will be out when he feels like it.

Also looked back a couple of pages, yeah no way he made it through that screen. has to be in the rocks. watched your video again. Man I am almost hoping the guy who said he would be by this weekend to pick up the 75 is a no show.

Should I start yanking hermits? I feel like there isn't much to eat for them anyway.

I bagged the fish and will call Murray when he gets in, but I doubt he will be able to do much.
